We had a nice time visiting my mom and my brother and his family in Florida. There were no flight delays and the weather was warm. That was a nice break from the cold. It has been very cold this winter so far. Zero degrees and below. Which is bad because Dave has to work in a warehouse with limited heat. But Kara reminds Dave to always dress warmly.
Tyler is a good boy, as always. He likes the nursery rhyme CD's that Grandma Shirley gave him for Christmas. He wants to listen almost every night. He loves all his new toys that he got for Christmas - he is very busy playing with many of them, each day. His least favorite - is Kara's favorite - legos, she just can't seem to get him to play with them with her. Not sure why.
Only about 5 more weeks until the baby is due. Kara is tired of being pregnant (of course). Last night the baby had hick ups it was cute. This past weekend I held a newborn (he is about a week old) and it really gave me the baby bug!!! It will be fun to hold our new baby.
We hope that everyone enjoyed their holiday season.
